I own a 2007 Mazda CX-9. At about 150k miles the transmission failed. After receiving a $5k estimate from the dealer my repair guy (Mike Carradonna) recommended this shop.
They replaced the transmission for about 1/2 the dealer. The work was completed on time, on price, and I think professionally. Two years and 50k miles later the transmission is tight and running well (despite the best efforts of a couple teenage drivers).
I recommend this shop and their service.
After visiting a couple of shops trying to figure out why my transmission was slipping, I stopped by the AAMCO Broad location and finally got real answers. Mr.Glen immediately noticed that my vehicle was nearly 3 quarts low on transmission fluid. 3 quarts! This was shocking, considering the previous shop (Lukes Auto in Grandview) had just replaced my transmission lines and failed to top off the fluid and failed to do several other things as I requested. My car was actually worse after leaving that shop. The other shop I went to was (A2Z off of Frank road) after a lot of MANSPLANING they diagnosed my transmission claiming it was bad and would cost around $1,000 just to pull and inspect. I didn’t feel right about that diagnosis, so after doing some research, I decided to try AAMCO—and I’m so glad I did. Glen got me in and out the same day, and whipped my vehicle back into shape, him and his crew saved me thousands of dollars. His honesty, care, and professionalism truly stood out. I’m extremely grateful and will absolutely be a returning customer if anything else comes up.
This is for the Cleveland Ave location: My clutch was not working properly and I couldnt drive in reverse or in 2nd. I was dreading taking it anywhere just to have it looked at and fixed because all places I reached out to wanted $$$ just to look at it. The dealer (Nissan) wanted $230 just to look at it. But when snow hit the ground I had mo choice. So I was reminded about this place...I took my car in to have it looked at and diahnosed. It was not only was free to check it out, they got me all the way together. The service was quick and professional and also affordable. They also fixed my daughters car pretty quickly too! I highly recommend this shop! I wont be going anywhere else.

Have been going to aamco for years love how kind and helpful Glenn and his staff are will always only take my cars here he is honest and is always willing to help
